Thank you, medellín

A month left until I leave this place, and I can’t help but feel thankful that Medellín was my first destination. It truly feels like a city I could spend the rest of my days in. I’ve met some amazing people here, including my friend Kat, who owns a juice bar that’s flourishing.

I’m a peaceful person who loves being in environments like Medellín — a city full of expats who seem to have their lives together, who have a plan, who are figuring things out without competing, chasing drama, or stressing about finances. Everyone here seems calm, grounded, and focused on building something meaningful — often working on ways to make even more money while enjoying life.

I’ve had more business conversations here than I ever had back in the States — including talks about expanding and investing in Kash’s juice bar and Skybox, one of the biggest sports bars in Medellín.

As I move on to the next place, I hope the peace continues. I hope I keep meeting great people, keep learning, and keep growing along the way.
